CG2 Project Demos
Wednesday, Febuary 16, 2011 CE
A 3D Demo of my Nuwii-Based Map Editor. Cyan/Red "3D" Glasses recommended.

A Demonstration of construction with the 3D Map Editor. (Note: this was done with THE KEYBOARD, not via Nuwii handtracking system)

CG2 Renderman Assignment
Wednesday, Febuary 16, 2011 CE

Renderman Assignment, Part 1 Part one of the renderman assignment. I simply modified a few parameters in the provided rib files.

Renderman Assignment, Part 2 Part two of the renderman assignment. I added three new surface shaders, mostly be experimenting with alpha.

Renderman Assignment, Part 3 ...Since I couldn't think of a more creative effect to aim for, I decided to "make" a 'motivational' poster about raytracing in renderman.

CG2 Raytracer // Checkpoint 6

Checkpoint 6, no extras Checkpoint 6 - Basic

Checkpoint 6, with extra Checkpoint 6 - With transmission based shadows extra

Checkpoint 6, w/. "the works" "The works" (multisampling+aabb+lights+shadow ray transmission - everything except checkpoint 5's extra)

Checkpoint 6, old color scheme & materials With the same material properties as my previous checkpoints

CG2 Raytracer // Checkpoint 5
Wednesday, January 26, 2011 CE
Checkpoint 5, no extras Checkpoint 5 - Basic (Kr[far-sphere] = 1.0)

Checkpoint 5, no extras Checkpoint 5 - Basic (Kr[far-sphere] = 0.1)

Checkpoint 5, reflection ray multisampling cone thingy The extra for checkpoint 5

Checkpoint 5, nice rendering A Nice rendering with multisampling, muliple lights(2), and the extra for checkpoint 5. Rendered it on a lab machine because it was taking too long on my laptop.

the basic scene, without the 3d stereo rendering
Above: the basic scene, created using the Nuwii project as the input method for placing blocks

same as above, but with a 3d effect
Above: the same scene, but with a 3D stereo effect applied to it. Best viewed with cyan-magenta glasses.

same as above, but with a different 3d effect
Above: the same scene, but with a different 3D stereo effect applied to it. The "eye distance" has been shifted in the other direction screen-capture. Best viewed with cyan-magenta glasses.
